The Slippery Rock University Media Hall of Fame was established to recognize outstanding professional achievement by SRU Alumni and former undergrad students who were members of campus media (radio, newspaper, TV station or Public Relations) and pursued a career in the media after leaving SRU.

Our thoughts are with all of you.

To all:
The most important and obvious thoughts are on our minds at this time, is obviously with all of those suffering or at risk from the coronavirus, otherwise known as COVID-19.

Everything else comes secondary to that, including the 2020 SRU Media Hall of Fame.
We thought it fair and just to inform you all of the where this year's process stands--it is currently in limbo but I promise you, it WILL resume, once we get back to a sense of normalcy. But for now, we have temporarily suspended all activities, so we all can focus on ourselves, our families, and the more important needs around us.
SRU Students are not currently on campus, most schools are closed, including those of our own children.
We are all hunkered down at home, staying safe and hoping for the best.
The SRU Staff who are taking over most of these responsibilities are now overloaded with teaching their students remotely among a few more responsibilities they did not expect to have this Semester.
All we can hope for is everyone's health and safety--everything else can wait.
